About

Zeus Exteriors is a full exterior contractor working the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. Its RCAT registration gives 2817 Miramar Drive in Carrollton, while the company's own website, its BBB profile and its Yelp listing all publish an office at 2815 Valley View Lane, Suite 210, in the Farmers Branch part of Dallas 75234. BBB records put the business start at January 2022 and name Michael Sicilian as owner and operator. The work spans residential and commercial roofing plus gutters, siding, windows and solar, so a hail claim that damaged more than the roof can be handled by one company. On the residential side the site describes GAF Timberline HDZ laminated shingles, stone coated steel, standing seam metal and tile. On the commercial side it lists TPO, PVC and metal systems, insulation and new construction. Free roof inspections and 24 hour emergency service are advertised. It is a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating, accredited since October 2022, and it appears in GAF's own contractor directory. The website's claim of more than two decades of proven success sits alongside a 2022 company start date in both the BBB and RCAT records, so read it as the team's experience rather than the age of the business.

Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this licence yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search — search #01-0686 or the company name.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

This was nothing but a flawless experience! Mike and his crew took excellent care of our home and did a beautiful job with our new roof. From our first contact he communicated clearly and helped with insurance, kept us informed every step of the way. They are not a low bid, but far from the highest, if you want quality work at an honest and fair price this IS the business you want. Check out ALL the 5 star reviews here and on Yelp, they are doing it right!

Had some shingles blown off and these guys fixed it fast and at the right price. Did everything by text and it was so easy! Flew a drone over my roof to find the problem then sent me the pics and a price. After they were done they sent pics of the finished job. I’m very happy with all of it!

We had an excellent experience with Zeus Roofing from start to finish. Greg did an amazing job throughout the entire process. He was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and made everything easy to understand. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations, and the crew was efficient and respectful of our property. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Zeus Roofing to anyone looking for a trustworthy roofing company. Thank you, Greg, for making this such a great experience!

I found Zeus Exteriors through Thumbtack after noticing a roof leak visible from my attic. Mike came out promptly, inspected everything thoroughly, and identified it as a minor issue. What impressed me most was what happened next — instead of writing up a quote, he simply went ahead and fixed it on the spot. And he didn’t charge me a thing. He also offered to follow up in a few days to make sure the leak was fully resolved, and said he’d come back if any additional work was needed. He assured me the rest of my roof looked good, which gave me real peace of mind. In a world where it’s easy to upsell and overcharge, Mike’s honesty and professionalism stood out. He could have easily turned this into a bigger job, but he did the right thing. That kind of integrity earns a customer for life. I’ll absolutely be calling Zeus Exteriors for any future exterior work, and I’d recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Frequently asked

Does Texas license roofing contractors?
No. Texas has no state roofing license, so nobody in this trade is licensed by the state. What you can actually check is current general liability and workers compensation insurance (ask for a certificate sent direct from the insurer, not a PDF from the salesperson), the company's RCAT standing, and whatever registration your city requires.
What does the RCAT status on this listing mean?
RCAT is the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas, a trade body. It has two separate things: plain membership, which is paid dues, and a separately earned Licensed Roofing Contractor credential. This listing records the company as Licensed. Those are not the same thing and neither is a government license, so treat RCAT standing as a professional credential rather than a permit to work.
Where is Zeus Exteriors actually based?
Two addresses appear. The RCAT registration is at 2817 Miramar Drive in Carrollton, on the Denton County side of the city. The company's own website, its BBB profile and its Yelp listing all give an office at 2815 Valley View Lane, Suite 210, Dallas 75234, which is a multi tenant office building in the Farmers Branch area of Dallas County. Correspondence and site visits are likely to run through the Valley View Lane office.
Which areas does the company say it covers?
Its website names Dallas, Plano, Garland, Irving, Arlington, Fort Worth and Weatherford. That is a wide metroplex footprint, so if you are at the edge of it, confirm before booking that a crew genuinely travels to your suburb rather than assuming the list is exhaustive.
Are Class 4 impact resistant shingles worth paying for in North Texas?
North and Central Texas sit in what the industry calls Hail Alley, and DFW takes damaging hail most years. A Class 4 impact rated shingle is tested to resist a steel ball drop without cracking the mat, and many Texas carriers offer a premium discount for one. The discount is set by your insurer, not by the state, so get the figure in writing from your own carrier before you decide it pays for itself.
What should I check before signing with any North Texas roofer?
Get the certificate of insurance emailed straight from the insurance agency. Get a written scope that names the shingle line, the underlayment, the ventilation and the flashing work, not just a lump sum. Refuse any contract that signs your insurance benefits over to the contractor. Confirm who pulls the permit. And check that the deposit is modest and that payment tracks progress.
Does Zeus Exteriors do more than roofs?
Yes. Its BBB profile lists it under Roofing Contractors, Commercial Roofing, Residential Roofing, Gutters, Windows and Fence Contractors, and its site describes gutters, siding, windows, skylights and solar. That breadth is genuinely useful on a storm claim where siding and gutters were hit as well.
How long has the company been in business?
The BBB profile records a business start of 4 January 2022 and the RCAT record gives an establishment year of 2022. The website's line about more than two decades of proven success is not consistent with those dates, so read it as the experience the team brings rather than the age of the company itself.
What roofing materials does it install?
For steep slope residential work its site describes GAF Timberline HDZ laminated shingles, stone coated steel, standing seam metal and tile, over synthetic underlayment. For commercial low slope work it lists TPO, PVC and metal systems with insulation.
Who issues the roofing permit for my job?
Texas has no statewide building code office, so permitting and inspection are handled city by city and county by county. Ask which authority covers your street address, confirm the permit is pulled in the roofing company's name rather than yours, and ask for the final inspection sign off when the job closes.
