About

Green Eagle Roofing & Construction is a Lake Dallas company that works across both the commercial and residential markets. It is led by CEO and owner Lance White, whose construction background began in 1986 building custom homes around Dallas-Fort Worth, together with co-owner Carmen White. The company later shifted its focus to roofing and insurance remediation work, and BBB records show the entity incorporated in 2009 with an A+ rating and BBB accreditation since 2016. On the commercial side, Green Eagle handles roof repair, maintenance, coatings, replacement, and new construction for properties such as warehouses, corporate and apartment complexes, and storage facilities. Residential work covers single-family and multi-family roofing along with broader construction projects. Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

Working with Lance and his team is the best decision you’ll make! To find a construction and roofing team with the integrity and care they have is near impossible. His team built out our coffee shop inside of a 100 year old building and worked with us to navigate city challenges, historic preservation, and more. So thankful we trusted them with our dream — you’ll be thankful you trusted them with your home or business!

I need to take photos because these just don’t do it justice! We hired Rusty and his crew (Oscar, Juan, and more) to paint our home. We have hired others on past projects and were so beyond pleased with the work that these wonderful gentlemen did in our house. They took pristine care of all of the areas in our home and were especially careful with woodwork. They would even sand down a chipped area entirely and then paint it, making it look seamless. We will only be using them in the future! Thank you guys so so much!!

Fantastic service and such attention to detail. Rusty showed up and totally impressed me and my wife at our new home with his listening and suggestions on how to really make our new home special and saw things we were not even aware of. Absolutely top notch service and will only use Green Eagle going forward

We just finished our new home and Green Eagle installed our roof! They did a great job from start (helping select a shingle color) to finish (all cleanup)! Our home looks beautiful! Thanks Green Eagle!

From the owner, Lance, to the office staff to the workers and technicians on the job site, you'll find Green Eagle Roofing and Construction to be friendly and accommodating at all levels. Our roof and gutters were replaced following the Spring hail storms and we couldn't have dealt with nicer folks. This is not a storm-chasing, out-of-town business that we see frequently in the Dallas Metroplex following these type of storms, but rather a locally-owned and run business that always puts the satisfaction of the customer at the forefront. Green Eagle stands behind their work and sincerely wants the customer to be fully satisfied with all work done. We fully recommend them!

Frequently asked

Is Green Eagle Roofing & Construction licensed by the State of Texas?
Texas has no state roofing license, so no roofer in Texas can hold one. Green Eagle is a Member of the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT), a voluntary trade association. Ask for a current certificate of insurance and confirm any city registration requirements where your property is located.
What does RCAT Member mean compared to RCAT Licensed?
An RCAT Member has joined the association and pays dues. The RCAT Licensed Roofing Contractor credential is a separate certification earned through testing and insurance verification. Green Eagle is listed as an RCAT Member, which is not the same as the licensed credential.
What GAF credentials does Green Eagle hold?
GAF's contractor directory lists Green Eagle Roofing & Construction as a GAF Certified residential contractor able to offer the System Plus limited warranty, and as a GAF GoldElite commercial contractor able to offer the Diamond Pledge NDL roof guarantee on qualifying systems.
Does Green Eagle do commercial roofing?
Yes. Commercial work is a core focus, covering roof repair, maintenance, coatings, replacement, and new construction for industrial warehouses, corporate complexes, apartment complexes, and storage facilities.
Does Green Eagle handle residential projects too?
Yes. The company roofs single-family and multi-family homes and also takes on broader home construction and backyard renovation projects.
Can Green Eagle help with hail damage and insurance claims?
The company describes insurance remediation as part of its history and services. The Denton County area sees frequent hail, so after a storm get a written inspection, notify your insurer promptly, and consider Class 4 impact-resistant shingles, which some Texas insurers discount.
How long has Green Eagle been in business?
BBB records show the company incorporated in 2009, with the roofing focused business operating since 2012 under its current name. Owner Lance White's construction background goes back to 1986 building custom homes in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Where does Green Eagle work?
The company is based at 503 Main Street in Lake Dallas and serves the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with customers it reports across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
Do I need a permit for roof work in Denton County?
Texas leaves permitting to cities and counties, so requirements vary by location. Check with your city building department (Lake Dallas, Denton, or wherever the property sits) and ask the contractor in writing who is responsible for pulling any required permit.
What should I confirm before signing with any Texas roofer?
Since Texas does not license roofers at the state level, verify insurance certificates directly with the carrier, get the full scope and price in writing, ask about manufacturer certifications if you want an enhanced warranty, and never let a contractor offer to absorb your insurance deductible, which Texas law prohibits.
