Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

I had an outstanding experience with Greg Gambrell from start to finish. From our initial conversation, he took the time to clearly explain everything and walk me through all my options without any pressure. Throughout the entire process, he stayed in constant communication, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The quality of the work speaks for itself, my roof looks fantastic. Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented. I highly recommend his services/Quick Roofing to anyone needing roofing work done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We cannot say enough good things about Manny and Ken at Quick Roofing. After a terrible experience with our original roofing contractor that ultimately required our roof to be removed and redone, Manny and Ken stepped in and completely restored our confidence. Quick roofing removed the old roofs and installed both our home roof and patio roof, and their workmanship, professionalism, and communication were outstanding from start to finish. What truly set them apart was how far they went beyond the scope of the job—they helped coordinate the warranty process, answered countless questions, and advocated for us every step of the way. Finding contractors you can genuinely trust is rare, and Manny and Ken proved time and again that they care about doing things the right way. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work and would recommend Quick Roofing without hesitation.

John was so great to work with! He was always so quick to answer any questions that we had and his crew was also exceptional and on time. The job was done in a day and by the time that I arrived home, it looked great. There wasn’t a sign of debris or anything being out of place. I was awestruck at how quickly and efficiently this whole process was completed. I would highly recommend this company for anyone’s roofing needs. They used great material, gave us options on colors as well as financing at the lowest bid that we found! We are very pleased, so thank you John Ramsey for everything! We feel much better now that our roof is back in great shape.

Quick roofing did my roof and I could not be happier. The Project manager Castro and the team lead Carlos were amazing and kept us updated throughout the job and was done with our roof and cleaned up before 5pm

Frequently asked

Where is Quick Roofing actually based?
The corporate office is at 925 E Kennedale Pkwy in Kennedale, Tarrant County, and that same office is the Dallas Fort Worth branch. Everything else operates out of regional offices, so the Kennedale address is the head of the operation rather than one branch among many.
How big is the company's footprint?
It lists roughly ten Texas offices, including Kennedale, Richardson, north Fort Worth, Austin, Katy for Houston, San Antonio, Lubbock, Amarillo, Odessa and San Angelo, plus locations across Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, Colorado, Oklahoma and other states, more than 30 markets in total. Ask which office will actually run your job and who the local production manager is.
Is Quick Roofing licensed by the State of Texas?
Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so no Texas roofer holds one. What you can verify is insurance, city registration where required, manufacturer credentials and association standing. Quick Roofing has been BBB accredited with an A+ rating since 1994 and our record lists it as holding the RCAT Licensed Roofing Contractor credential.
What is the difference between an RCAT Member and an RCAT Licensed Roofing Contractor?
Membership means paying dues to the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas. The Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (RRL, CRL or CRRL) is earned separately through documented experience and testing, and it is the stronger of the two. Our record lists Quick Roofing under the Licensed credential rather than plain membership.
What do GAF Master Elite and Owens Corning Platinum Preferred actually mean?
They are the top contractor tiers at each manufacturer, awarded to a small share of roofers and reviewed on insurance, reputation and installation standards. The practical benefit is access to the strongest manufacturer backed system warranties, which a non certified contractor cannot offer. Quick Roofing lists both, along with Firestone, TAMKO, CertainTeed and IKO credentials.
Why is hail the main story for roofs in North Texas?
The Dallas Fort Worth area sits in Hail Alley, and hail is the leading cause of roof replacement across North and Central Texas. Hail bruising is usually not visible from the ground, so after a significant storm get a documented inspection with dated photos rather than waiting for water to show up inside.
Are Class 4 impact resistant shingles worth it in Texas?
For most North Texas homeowners, yes. Class 4 products pass the UL 2218 impact test and many Texas carriers offer a premium discount for them. Check the discount with your own carrier first, then have the specific product and its Class 4 rating written into your contract so you have proof.
What warranty does Quick Roofing offer?
It advertises a seven year standard workmanship warranty on roof replacement, or up to a 25 year warranty backed by the shingle manufacturer, depending on the materials chosen and the manufacturer's requirements. Ask which specific warranty applies to your quote and whether registration with the manufacturer is required.
Do I need a permit for a roof replacement in Tarrant County?
Texas has no statewide building code enforcement, so permitting is handled city by city. Kennedale, Arlington, Fort Worth and the surrounding cities each set their own roofing permit and inspection rules. Ask for the permit to be pulled in the contractor's name and get the permit number.
What should I confirm before signing with a large multi location roofer?
Get the local branch and project manager named on the contract, the exact product line and color in writing, decking replacement priced per sheet, the workmanship and manufacturer warranty terms, and how the crew handles cleanup. Also ask for a certificate of insurance directly from the agent. In Texas a contractor cannot legally pay, waive or rebate your insurance deductible, so treat any such offer as a warning.
