Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this licence yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search — search #01-0714 or the company name.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

I can’t say enough great things about Evan Warth with Titan Pros Roofing. Evan was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He jumped in immediately to address my client’s needs and was incredibly proactive in helping navigate the insurance process so we could get the roof completed before closing, which made a huge difference in keeping the transaction on track. He went above and beyond by coordinating a crew to have the solar panels removed and reinstalled, and he helped us structure everything so the roof was paid for at closing, making the process seamless for everyone involved. Evan’s attention to detail, trustworthiness, and communication truly set him apart. My client was out of town during the process, and Evan did an amazing job keeping her informed and completely at ease every step of the way. His professionalism and follow-through gave us total confidence that everything was being handled correctly. If you’re looking for a roofing professional who is reliable, proactive, and genuinely cares about their clients, Evan Warth at Titan Pros Roofing is the one to call. Highly recommend!

After a recent hail storm, we called Titan Pros and Evan came out the very next day to inspect our roof. From the beginning, he was knowledgeable, responsive, and took the time to explain everything clearly. We also wanted to switch from traditional roof vents to a ridge vent, and he walked us through the process and made it incredibly easy. Communication throughout the project was excellent. The installation had to be pushed back because of the weather, but Evan kept us updated every step of the way, so we always knew what to expect. Once installation day arrived, the crew was efficient, professional, and completed the entire roof in just one day. We especially appreciated the attention to detail. They took the time to cover our pool before starting, cleaned up thoroughly afterward, and Evan was on-site throughout the installation. He even came back afterward to do a final walkthrough and make sure everything met his standards. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for a roofing company that’s honest, communicates well, and truly cares about the quality of their work, I would absolutely recommend Titan Pros and ask for Evan!

As a Realtor, I need vendors I can trust with my clients. Evan recently completed a roof inspection for one of my clients and gave them the peace of mind that their home was properly protected. He was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated clearly throughout the process. I look forward to working with him again.

Titan pros roofing is always my go to for any listings needing roof repairs. Evan was extremely responsive and quickly got out to the listing so he could examine the condition. He created a thorough report and was very helpful with any additional questions. Ultimately the seller decided to go with a roof replacement and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hardest workers in the business. 10/10 recommend.

I'm extremely satisfied with the full roof and gutter replacement job that the team at Titan Pros did. Evan took care of us from start to finish, helping us navigate the process during a difficult home sale process. This was the most hands off contractor job I've personally experienced! From the initial inspection through to the final cleanup, the entire process was handled with extreme efficiency. A huge recommendation for Evan, who was our project manager that took care of us from start to finish, acting as both a guide and advocate. His industry expertise was essential in guiding us through the complex insurance and repair process. His clear and proactive communication sets the bar for me from now on. Finally, the quality of the work is outstanding. The crew was respectful of our property, worked insanely efficiently, and completed the job on schedule. They delivered a great product and a better experience. There’s not much more you can ask for.

Frequently asked

Where is Titan Pros Roofing actually based?
Its RCAT record and BBB profile both give 3130 Harvard Ave, Suite B, Dallas, TX 75205, with phone (972) 590-8955. That is the address to match against if you are checking you have the right company, because Titan is a widely reused roofing brand name nationally.
Is Titan Pros Roofing licensed by the State of Texas?
Texas issues no state roofing licence, so that phrase never applies to a Texas roofer. What this company holds is the RCAT Licensed Roofing Contractor credential, recorded against Kenneth Andrews as Residential Roofing License #01-0714.
What is the difference between RCAT Member and RCAT Licensed?
Member means the firm pays dues to the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas. Licensed is a separate credential earned by examination, issued as residential (RRL), commercial (CRL) or combined (CRRL). Titan Pros Roofing is recorded as Licensed.
The company says over 35 years of experience but the entity started in 2023. Which is right?
Both can be true and they mean different things. The BBB records the business entity as incorporated on 1/10/2023, while the 35 year figure is the company's own description of its people's time in the industry. Treat the entity date as the verified fact and the experience claim as stated by the company.
Why does hail dominate roofing in Dallas County?
Dallas sits in the North Texas hail belt, where spring storms drop hail large enough to bruise asphalt shingles and shorten roof life without any obvious leak. Most roof replacements in the county begin as an insurance claim rather than a planned upgrade.
Are Class 4 impact resistant shingles worth paying for in Dallas?
Class 4 is the top rating in the UL 2218 impact test and holds up better against hail bruising than standard architectural shingles. Many Texas carriers give a premium discount for them. Ask your own insurer what the discount is before committing, since it varies widely.
Do I need a permit for a roof replacement in Dallas?
Texas has no statewide building code administration, so permitting and inspection are set locally. The City of Dallas and each surrounding suburb run their own rules. Confirm the contractor is pulling the permit in their name, not yours.
How do I verify a roofer's insurance before work starts?
Request a certificate of insurance showing general liability and workers compensation, and ask the insurance agent to send it to you directly rather than accepting a forwarded copy. Check the policy dates cover the whole project.
Is it legal for a roofer to cover my insurance deductible?
No. In Texas it is unlawful for a contractor to pay, waive, rebate or absorb an insurance deductible, and offers to do so are a warning sign. A contractor also cannot act as your public adjuster on a job they are contracted to perform.
Do coastal windstorm rules apply to a Dallas roof?
No. WPI-8 windstorm certification through TWIA applies only to the 14 first tier Gulf Coast counties. Dallas County is inland, so the questions that matter are hail resistance, decking condition, ventilation and local permitting.
