About

RB3 Roofing and Construction, trading online as RB3 Construction, is a Dallas based roofing and exterior contractor at 13355 Noel Rd, Suite 1100, Dallas, TX 75240. The Better Business Bureau lists Ramiro Bazan as owner and director, records the business as started on 5 January 2018, and shows it as BBB Accredited since 27 July 2020 with an A+ rating. The company covers shingle, metal and copper roofing, and also takes on interior and exterior painting, siding installation, fence repair and gutter replacement, which lets one contractor handle a whole exterior after a storm. It appears in both the residential and the commercial GAF roofer directories for Dallas. Dallas County sits in the North Texas hail belt, so hail bruised shingles and insurance claim work drive a large share of local roofing demand. Texas has no state roofing licence and no statewide residential building code, so permits and inspections are issued by the City of Dallas or by whichever suburb the property sits in.

Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

I must say that RB3 Roofing and Construction has been monumental in taking care of our home repairs after we had a horrible hail storm on June 5th here in Lubbock. From day one, Carlos has been exceptional in his attention to our needs. Instead of us needing to hire separate companies to repair our roof, windows, fence, etc...Carlos took care of Everything. The craftsmanship of the workers replacing the roof was awesome. Very clean and precise. I found that whenever I had questions, Carlos was always available to answer the phone and was prompt with answers. The windows replaced was professional. I am so pleased with the work RB3 has done on our home. I highly recommend this company. Thank you RB3 and thank you Carlos.

We are so pleased with the roof replacement RB3 did on our home. Abel was extremely professional and helpful in providing the quote and making this possible for us. The crew was careful and considerate, protecting the exterior grounds of our home as well as installing a beautiful roof. We highly recommend RB3 Roofing and Construction.

I can't say enough about RB3 Roofing and Construction. Abel was amazing - he walked me through all the Insurance Information, took drone pictures, was extremely responsive to any calls or texts I had to him. The work was done on time, as promised. I originally had the roof replaced due to hail, but was so please with the outcome and the SERVICE I received that I opted to go ahead with an outside remodel! I replaced siding, added soffit, facia and had both the barn and house painted. Crews showed up on time (and sometimes before) and when they were finished each night everything was clean and ready to go the next morning. I can't say enough good things about the whole experience - and would recommend RB3 to anyone!

I recently used RB3 for roofing work which included replacing some decking, installing a radiant barrier, and new shingles. The team was professional, efficient, and friendly. They took extra care with protecting my home and yard while working and also did an excellent job with cleaning up afterwards. Most importantly, the roof looks fantastic!

Frequently asked

Is RB3 Roofing and Construction licensed by the State of Texas?
Texas does not licence roofing contractors, so no company in the state holds a state roofing licence. Verification rests on insurance, the BBB record, RCAT standing and manufacturer directory listings.
What does RCAT Member mean here?
It means the company pays dues to the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas and is listed in its directory. This is a separate thing from the association's earned Licensed Roofing Contractor credential, and this record is carried as Member.
How does RCAT Member differ from RCAT Licensed?
Licensed contractors (RRL, CRL or CRRL) have passed an exam and satisfied insurance and experience requirements. Members have paid dues. Do not read one as evidence of the other when comparing quotes.
Why does hail dominate roofing work in Dallas County?
Dallas sits in the North Texas hail belt, where spring storms produce hail large enough to bruise asphalt shingles most years. The damage often is not visible from the ground, which is why post storm inspections matter.
Should I upgrade to Class 4 impact resistant shingles?
It is usually worth pricing. UL 2218 Class 4 shingles handle hail impact far better than standard products and many Texas insurers offer a premium discount for them. Ask your carrier what evidence it wants before installation.
Is a copper or metal roof sensible in Dallas?
Metal handles hail and heat well and lasts longer than asphalt, though standing seam and copper cost significantly more upfront and can still dent in severe hail. Ask to see comparable local installs and how the panels are fastened.
Do I need a permit to reroof in Dallas?
Yes for most reroofing work, and the rules are set locally because Texas has no statewide residential code. Confirm the contractor pulls the permit in its own name rather than asking you to file it yourself.
What insurance documents should I request?
A current general liability certificate and workers compensation cover where crews are employees rather than subcontractors. Ask the insurance agent to send it to you directly rather than accepting a copy from the salesperson.
Does BBB accreditation mean the work is guaranteed?
No. Accreditation means the business applied, paid dues and committed to the BBB standards, and the letter rating reflects complaint history. It is a useful signal of track record, not a warranty. Ask for the workmanship warranty separately, in writing.
What should I check before signing a roofing contract?
Get the shingle or panel product line named, a total price rather than an insurance contingent figure, the schedule, who supervises the crew daily, how the deductible is handled, the workmanship warranty length, and the cleanup and nail sweep commitment.
