Legacy is a great and honest company to work with. Charles Johnson was very knowledgeable, professional and kind to guide us through the entire process. This was our first roofing replacement experience and frankly we were dreading the unknown. Charles though, was patient to explain everything in great detail. He also helped us through the entire claim process in dealing with the insurance company which made it a breeze for our part. After the windstorm over Mar 4th-5th, 2025, I asked my insurance agent if they knew of reputable roofers. I wanted to determine if I needed to file a claim or pay for repairs out of pocket. Legacy Roofing & Contracting was one cards she sent me. Mr. Schmidt responded to my text message timely and arranged to come out the following day. He assessed the roof and said it was in good shape and only needed minor repairs. I was thrilled to hear that because I was in the process of changing insurance companies. We made arrangements for the repairs the next day because he said he wanted to get it done before the predicted rain (great relief to me). I asked "how much will I owe you?". He said, NOTHING. I'm jovial with him but I'm thinking this is too good to be true. Sure enough he arrives the next morning, makes the repairs, the roof looks great, and I couldn't be happier. Both visits he let me know when he was on the way, when he arrived, and when he left. Chaney Schmidt earned my trust and that's a hard thing to do. I will need a new roof sooner rather than later and Mr. Schmidt will be the ONLY roofer I'll call. If he's booked, I'll wait. I was impressed with his ethical work standards and the quality of his work. I recommend him highly! Child, I'm about to invite him to the cookout.😊
