About
GreenLeaf Roofing is a Plano based roofing company founded in 2013 that serves homeowners, businesses, and multi-family properties across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The company states that it performs its work with in-house crews rather than subcontractors, and it offers residential and commercial roof replacement, storm damage restoration, gutters, metal roofing and fabrication, and related exterior work. On the commercial side, GreenLeaf appears in GAF's own contractor directory as a GoldElite commercial contractor, a factory relationship that allows it to offer certain GAF commercial roof guarantees on qualifying systems. The company has been BBB accredited since 2016 and holds an A+ rating. It also states relationships with CertainTeed, Duro-Last, McElroy Metal, Versico, Firestone, Malarkey, and Mule-Hide, and membership in the Dallas Builders Association, the Texas Association of Builders, and the National Association of Home Builders. GreenLeaf's primary coverage is Collin, Denton, Dallas, and Tarrant counties, with 24 hour emergency service and free inspections. The company also states that it fields mobile crews for large projects outside Texas.

Insurance & credential verification
Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.
Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.
Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

I cannot recommend Ian and Green Leaf Roofing highly enough! From start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding. Ian was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure the job was done right. The crew was efficient, hardworking, and respectful of our property. They completed the project on schedule, kept the work area clean, and the quality of the workmanship exceeded our expectations. Our new roof looks fantastic, and it's clear that Green Leaf Roofing takes pride in delivering top-notch results. What really set Ian apart was his communication and attention to detail. He kept us informed throughout the process, answered all of our questions, and made what could have been a stressful project feel easy and seamless. If you're looking for a roofing company that is trustworthy, professional, and committed to excellence, Green Leaf Roofing is the company to call. We are extremely happy with the results and would gladly recommend Ian and his team to anyone needing roofing services.
Our home was originally constructed in the 1930s and comprises a main house, a pool house and a carport. We were unsure how old the roof material was but various inspections led us to believe a replacement was needed. While we received other bids, we found the input, the suggestions, the professionalism and the consultative approach to the Greenleaf Roofing group stood out above others. And the pricing was not only reasonable but adapted to what best worked for our budget needs. Jacob was everything that could be hoped for in a project manager (particularly for a sales guy) and he was always there to answer questions. His team performed beyond expectations and the end product was fantastic! Ian brought an additional level of technical expertise to address the questions we had and gave us complete confidence that we were doing the right things to secure the house for the next few decades. Greenleaf is much more than these two fantastic customer facing men and we were impressed by the swarms of workers that invested themselves from sunrise to sunset to get the job done. Oh, I should mention that the left the property spotless upon departure and took great care not to damage landscape, windows or gutters. I would recommend this group to anyone desiring a quality job from incredibly gifted and personable professionals at fair prices. Thanks!!!
Garrett and Poncho were fantastic to work with. They responded very quickly and took the time to guide us through whether it made more sense to repair or fully replace our roof. They were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping us make the best decision for our situation—not just selling a service. They quickly resolved an issue we were dealing with and truly went above and beyond throughout the process. We really appreciated their professionalism and honesty. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be using them again for future roofing projects!
Ian and his team did a fantastic job on our new roof! They were professional, prompt, and clear on the pricing. They did the job in 1 day and cleaned up nicely afterward. Very happy with their work and service.
Pleased with having used Green Leaf to repair an on going leak we have had over the years. Malachy was great to work with. He was knowledge in his area of work and most importantly worked with us on the issue going above and beyond which I can appreciate given all the headaches we had delt with the previous roofer. The previous roofer did not address this issue from the beginning, his roofing business went under, and despite sending other roofers to help, the issue was never resolved... The flashing around the chimney was never replaced and sent out other people to fix the issue. This included re-flashing around the chimney. Despite this fix, the leak still occurred. Malachy and his group were able to determine where the leak was occurring after removing the flashing previously installed by the other roofer and was pretty evident the install was poorly done. Green Leaf took everything down to the roof sheeting and re-flashed everything back up to fix this leak. Their quality of work is very evident as they even fork their own heavy duty lap flashing. Going with a slightly taller lap flashing and properly installing all the layers below to water proof solved our issue and have been please to announce no water has been seen. I would highly recommend working with Green Leaf as they have been around for some time now, and seem to know their stuff. Firs image is showing the work the other roofer did. You can tell this was poorly installed and that they did not know what they were doing seeing as they added caulking to the bottom of the lap flashing to try to stop the leak....
