Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

All Texans put a new on our house in 2024 and we were extremely pleased with the entire process from discussing the pros and cons of the different grades of roofing materials to installation, clean up, and follow-up inspection of their work. I was very pleased with the price i was quoted and there were no add-ons after the job was underway. We recently had an issue with our metal domer that began leaking unrelated to the re-roofing project. Artemis himself

I would highly recomend Texans Home Impropvement. I had the exterior of a 60+ year old h;ome painted including repllacing any rotted wood. Bid was very competative, work done timely and clean manner. All interactions with Texans Home Improvement were professional

This company did an amazing job on our roof, full paint and replacement windows! Owner Artimio stayed on-site to ensure everything was being done correctly! I highly recommend this company!

We can now breathe easier with our new roof! Amazing and professional roofing company! Job done fast and high quality work! The cleanup after the job was done was as if they never were there. The customer service and communication was great! Thank you for such a great experience!

They worked on my roof twice in the last 2-3 years. None of the issue was caused by them. The first issue was caused by sloppy home developer, which I didn’t find out until several years after warranty expired. The second issue was roof damage from hurricane Beryl. Both times, Artemio came out very quickly, to inspect, and repaired the roof. His work is excellent and even gives you warranty to guarantee his work. I’ve researched numerous (4 to 5) roofing contractors before settling with Artemio and his company, because of various reasons: 1. He is very honest and will not screw you over like other contractors. 2. His price point is very fair. 3. He communicates well and commits to your time, etc... He is also local, which I very much support and appreciate. Great job!

Frequently asked

Does Texas license roofing contractors at the state level?
No, Texas has no statewide roofing license. Trust comes from insurance coverage, BBB standing, and association status such as RCAT, not a government license number.
Is All Texans Home Improvement an RCAT Member or a Licensed Roofing Contractor?
The RCAT directory lists All Texans Home Improvement, LLC as a Member since 2017. Member status means the company pays association dues; it differs from RCAT's separately earned Licensed Roofing Contractor (CRRL/RRL/CRL) credential, which the directory does not show this company holding.
What services does the company provide besides roofing?
According to the BBB, the company offers residential and light commercial remodeling, general construction, roofing, siding, and painting.
Should Houston homeowners ask about Class 4 hail resistant shingles?
Houston does see hail, though less often than North and Central Texas' Hail Alley. It is still worth asking any roofer, including All Texans Home Improvement, whether Class 4 impact resistant shingle options are available and whether your insurer offers a premium credit for them.
Does WPI-8 windstorm certification apply to this company's service area?
WPI-8 through the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association applies to the 14 first tier Gulf Coast counties. This company's Houston area service territory is generally outside that designated coastal boundary, so WPI-8 is not typically a factor here.
Is All Texans Home Improvement insured?
The company is BBB accredited, which requires certain business standards, but homeowners should still request current proof of general liability and workers compensation insurance directly from the company before signing a contract.
How long has All Texans Home Improvement been in business?
BBB records show the business started February 1, 1999, and it has been BBB accredited since May 15, 2002.
What permits are required for a Houston re-roof?
Texas sets no statewide building code, so permitting is handled city by city. Confirm permit requirements with the City of Houston or ask the contractor to confirm before work starts.
What should I ask before hiring a Houston remodeling and roofing contractor?
Ask for proof of insurance, a detailed written estimate, local references, an expected project timeline, and clear terms on deposits, payment schedule, and warranty coverage.
What areas does All Texans Home Improvement serve?
Reported service areas include Houston, Katy, Spring, Tomball, The Woodlands, Humble, Kingwood, and New Caney.
