About
Rhino Property Improvements is a commercial property improvement contractor based at 660 N Carroll Ave, Suite 130 in Southlake, Tarrant County, working across the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. Its clients are property managers and owners of multi-family, retail, industrial and office property rather than homeowners. The company's own site is titled Commercial Paving & Roofing, and it describes asphalt and concrete work alongside roof repairs. Roofing is a genuine service line but it is not the company's centre of gravity. Paving is the larger business: asphalt and concrete parking lots, roadways, sidewalks, concrete dock ramps and cement stabilization, with artificial turf installation and tree work also offered. Commercial roofing and roof repair sit within that bundle, which suits an owner packaging several exterior capital items with one vendor. The BBB categorises the business under Paving Contractors only, so a buyer whose project is roofing-first should ask for roofing-specific references and system experience. The LLC was incorporated on 9 September 2021 and the BBB file was opened in March 2023. The business is not BBB accredited and the BBB states it does not have enough information to issue a rating. The company states more than 30 years of experience serving the Metroplex, which refers to its people rather than the age of the LLC. This is a different company from Rhino Roofers and Construction of San Antonio and from Rhino Roofing Co of Frisco, both of which are separately listed by RCAT.

Insurance & credential verification
Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.
Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.
Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

I chose Hardie trim to replace the old worn out fiberboard facia, soffit and trim around the roofline of our 25 year old home. Rhino Roofing made my house look new again but this time with a 30 year warranty and no more painting and this product is solid as concrete. I’m sure any exterior contractor could install the same product but the superintendent James Radnedge made sure the install was complete and perfect in every way possible. He treated this project like it was it his own home. So many of my neighbors have stopped by to say how great it looks. Rhino and James made this one of the best construction experiences in my life and when I was a home builder I built over 100 homes.
The Rhino roofing team went above and beyond to give me an amazing roof and cleaned up like they were never there. It was amazing! It really all started with Travis Willis (Sales) reached out to me and helped me walk through getting my new roof. His identification of problems and description of the process made it simple for me get it done with my insurance company. My roof actually had some leaking seems near my brick line, which Travis had the team replace and add flashing to keep from happening again! Best part it was included in the price. As for the crew the onsite crew, their work was tireless and the first 100' degree day. They finished the entire roof in what seemed like a flash. They had the roof cleared, papered, sealed, and shingled before the end of the day. I came out the next day and the ground was clear, side walks sweeped, old shingles gone, and a new roof. Big shout out to those guys; mas cervezas for the working man. Rhino Roofing and Travis brought a great team and I would recommend them to anyone considering a new roof.
I’m very disappointed with the lack of financial integrity at Rhino Roofing. After providing an initial quote, their accounting department is now demanding significantly more money than originally agreed upon. A quote should be a commitment, not a starting point for negotiations. Be very careful with their billing practices and make sure you have everything in writing before they start. I had high hopes for Rhino Roofing, but the post-work experience has been a nightmare. The accounting staff is aggressive and is currently demanding a higher price than the signed quote provided at the start of the job. It feels like a 'bait and switch' tactic. Dealing with their office has been stressful and unprofessional. I would not recommend them if you value price transparency and honest business ethics.
I'm sure this company absolutely does great work but their door to door marketing tactics do not make a good impression on them as a business. I found it odd that an employee from a roofing company was knocking on doors in my neighborhood days before bad inclement weather is supposed to hit Dallas - it comes off as aggressive and opportunistic and it has alienated me as a potential customer.
I highly recommend Rhino Roofing and General Contracting!! Everyone in their office is highly dedicated, professional, and caring. From beginning to end, they took excellent care of our family and all our needs. After a severe storm we needed a new roof, gutters, windows replaced, fence, and garage door work, it took a while, but they were with us every step of the way and made the process so easy! They took a difficult and stressful time and made it easier. They also handled all the insurance paperwork and phone calls, they made the whole process easy! They were amazing!!
