About
Locked In Roofing operates from 32815 Tamina Road in Magnolia, in Montgomery County, and runs separate lines for the Houston and Austin markets. The company describes itself as a locally operated residential roofing business built around storm restoration, and its published services are roof inspection, roof replacement, roof repair, roof ventilation, emergency repair and yearly maintenance. Inspections are advertised as free and same day, with photo documentation and a written report.
The company is owned by three partners. Its About page names Anthony Sacchieri, with more than 15 years in commercial and residential construction, Caleb Aston, with more than five years in roofing plus earlier residential construction work in Houston and Colorado Springs, and Garrett Gilmer, with more than seven years in roofing and a background in oilfield project management. RCAT's directory lists Caleb Aston as the contact for member 1711 and classes the company as a residential and commercial contractor.
Storm work is the core of the business. The company's Magnolia pages describe insurance claim support including documentation, estimates and attending adjuster meetings on site, and list Class 4 impact-rated products alongside architectural shingles, synthetic underlayment, upgraded ventilation and reinforced ridge assemblies. Montgomery County sits inland, so wind and hail rather than coastal windstorm rules drive most roofing decisions here. The company states it is a certified contractor for TAMKO, Owens Corning and CertainTeed, and confirms it carries insurance while noting Texas does not require a roofing licence.

Insurance & credential verification
Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

City/county registration
Not checked for MagnoliaTexas has no state roofing licence, and city rules differ: some require contractor registration, some run a voluntary registry, some neither. Ask this company and your local permit office.
Status Current in the RCAT directory (no published licence number for this record)
RCAT member ID1711 (member since 2025)
Licence boardRCAT, Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (Texas issues no state roofing licence; RCAT runs the licensing programme)
Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

Locked In Roofing did an outstanding job on our roof replacement. Our roof is very large, and they were able to complete the entire job in just one day, which was impressive.
Eric was great to work with—he kept me informed throughout the entire process and made sure everything stayed on track. The crew was efficient and professional, and the quality of work really shows.
They did come back the next morning for a bit of minor cleanup since it got dark, but everything was handled promptly and thoroughly. I also appreciated that they met with the insurance adjuster onsite to ensure nothing was missed and the claim was handled properly.
Overall, a very smooth experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Locked In Roofing.

Everyone we spoke with was very helpful and efficient. They were able to schedule us in very quickly before a second rainstorm hit, after we discovered a leak in one of the bedrooms that was caused by an old satellite dish. In addition to repairing the holes caused by the dish, they removed it and disposed of it for us. Channing was thorough with his inspection and found a few rusted shingle nails in addition to a few additional loose shingles and the repair team did quick, great work to get EVERYTHING fixed all at once. We will absolutely recommend Locked in Roofing to anyone who needs work done.

John was awesome walking us through the process of getting a new roof through insurance. He came out after hurricane Beryl and didn’t find any damage, contacted us after a hail storm and came out the next day to check our roof. Within just a couple of weeks we had a new roof on. He was there every step of the way and answered any questions we had. The roofers and Grant were just as amazing the day of installation! They were quick and the quality of the roof is excellent! The entire process was made smooth and seamless! Definitely recommend Locked in Roofing!

The team from Locked In replaced my roof a few months ago. They did a great job informing me of the products they offer and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Solid workmanship at a very reasonable price. I’ve referred a few others and everyone has had the same feedback.

Frequently asked
Does Texas license roofing contractors?
No. Texas has no state roofing licence and no state agency that issues one, a point this company makes on its own FAQ page. That puts the burden on the homeowner to verify insurance, voluntary industry credentials such as RCAT, manufacturer certifications, and any registration the local city requires.
What does this company's RCAT status mean?
The Roofing Contractors Association of Texas directory lists Locked In Roofing as a Member. Membership means the company belongs to the association and pays dues. It is separate from RCAT's earned Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL), which requires testing and additional criteria. Membership is a reasonable signal of engagement with the trade, but it is not a licence and not a competency test.
Are the manufacturer certifications verified?
Not independently. The company states on its own FAQ page that it is a certified contractor for TAMKO, Owens Corning and CertainTeed, and that this lets it offer extended manufacturer warranties. Those pages are JavaScript-driven and the listings could not be confirmed on each manufacturer's own directory. Before relying on an enhanced warranty, ask for the contractor's certification number and check it on the manufacturer's contractor locator.
Are Class 4 impact-resistant shingles worth it in Montgomery County?
Frequently yes. Class 4 is the highest impact rating under the UL 2218 test, and many Texas homeowners insurers offer a premium discount for a Class 4 roof. Magnolia, Conroe and the wider Montgomery County area see severe thunderstorms, hail and wind-driven debris. Ask your insurer what discount it offers first, then have the specific shingle and its impact rating written into the contract.
How do I verify a Texas roofer's insurance?
Ask for the insurance agent's contact details and have the certificate of insurance sent to you directly by the agent rather than forwarded by the contractor. Confirm the general liability policy is current and ask specifically about workers compensation. Texas does not require most private employers to carry it, so a crew injury on an uninsured job can become a claim against your homeowners policy.
Do I need a permit to replace a roof in Magnolia or Montgomery County?
It depends on exactly where the house sits. Texas has no statewide building code enforcement, so permitting is handled locally. The City of Magnolia, the City of Conroe, The Woodlands townships and unincorporated Montgomery County all apply different rules, and unincorporated areas often have lighter requirements than incorporated cities. Confirm with the relevant office and make the contract state who pulls the permit.
Can a roofer handle my insurance claim negotiation?
No. Texas Insurance Code section 4102.163 bars a contractor from acting as a public adjuster or negotiating a claim on your behalf for a property they are also contracted to repair. Documenting damage, providing an estimate and meeting the adjuster on site are all permitted. If a contractor offers to negotiate the claim for you, or to waive or absorb your deductible, walk away, since deductible waiving is separately unlawful in Texas.
What happens at a free roof inspection?
The company advertises a same-day inspection at no cost, covering a damage assessment, photo documentation and a detailed written report. A useful inspection should show you photographs of the actual roof, identify the specific problem areas, and state whether a repair or a replacement is being recommended and why. Ask for the report in writing even if the answer is that nothing is wrong.
What should a Texas roofing contract spell out?
The shingle line, colour and impact rating, the underlayment, the ventilation plan, a per-sheet price for replacing damaged decking, who pulls the permit, cleanup and magnetic nail sweep, the length of the workmanship warranty, and confirmation the manufacturer warranty will be registered. Also read the cancellation terms, since Texas Business and Commerce Code chapter 27 generally allows cancellation of an insurance-related roofing contract within a few days of learning the insurer denied all or part of the claim.
How soon should I get a roof looked at after a storm?
Within days rather than weeks. Texas homeowners policies carry deadlines for reporting a loss, and delaying can let an insurer argue that damage worsened because it was not reported promptly. Take your own dated photographs from the ground, report the loss to your insurer yourself, and get an independent inspection. Avoid signing anything with a door-knocker on the day of the visit.
