About
Affirmax Roofing is a family-owned commercial and residential roofing contractor headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, with a Texas location at 219 Gonzales St in El Paso (El Paso County). The RCAT directory lists this location as a Member since 2022. The company describes over 20 years of roofing industry experience and operates across Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Virginia, Oregon and Washington, serving commercial, multifamily, senior living and property management clients as well as homeowners. Affirmax is a certified applicator for GAF's Residential Roofing Products Division, Carlisle Syntec Systems, Polyglass Roofing and Waterproofing Systems, and Mule-Hide Products, and states it provides OSHA-authorized safety training for its crews. Services include new roof installation, maintenance, repairs, cleaning and moss treatment, tile and shingle replacement, spray-applied polyurethane foam roofing, silicone roof coatings and emergency leak repair. The company's own website lists its Texas service areas as San Antonio, Fort Worth, Austin and Galveston rather than El Paso specifically, so homeowners in the El Paso area should confirm current local service availability directly with the company before assuming full local coverage.

Insurance & credential verification
Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.
Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.
Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

These guys were contracted by my home management company. They were scheduled to show up anywhere from between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. today they were a no-call no-show when we contacted our rental company to tell them that they were a no-call no-show All the sudden they tried to show up 9 hours later than they were supposed to then they hung up on us over the phone more than one time and proceeded to tell us we did not need to be home to show up here when we have small dogs do not recommend using this company at all. Very unprofessional company
These folks are contracted thru my apartment complex. They have patched a leak on the roof over my apartment that is under warranty. They have patched it 4 times in two years and the roof still leaks. It leaks to the point that my cieling came in and I needed buckets to catch the water. As a tenant they have put me in a bind because they will not sufficiently fix this job. Obviously they are doing it cheap cause of the warranty and not actually repairing the roof. I am litetally paying another roofer out of my pocket this time to come out and see if the treatment they suggest (5th time is the charm?) is a good option. I need someone else to look at the roof bedside I think they are completely full of it. I need to be able to defend my position if I break my lease and get taken to court. I think their quality of work is poor because they expect the tenants to simply be upset at the apartment complex and they feel will face no recourse or will not get called out on their poor workmanship. Well sorry Affirmax this review at least caught up with you. Very little help to me as I partially work out of my home and have lost money due to the inconvienve of my cieling caving in and leaking water everywhere. Shame on you for being so fraudulent. Shame on you for taking advantage of lower income tenants that you obviously have no respect for. I would not recommend this company to any commercial business that has value in their ethics.
Excellent service at an even better price. If you need the job done look no further Affirmax is the one.
Great customer service and job well done at fair price! Recommend for any commercial roofing jobs.
