About

AM.ON Roofing and Remodeling LLC is an El Paso roofing, remodeling and home-building contractor. BBB records show the business started August 10, 2015 and has been BBB accredited since September 3, 2019 with an A+ rating; principals are listed as Andres Martinez (Managing Partner) and Homar Gabriel Navarrete (President/Partner). The company's own site describes over 50 years of combined team experience and states it uses in-house crews rather than subcontractors. The company's registered BBB address (10129 Chezelle Dr) matches this directory's source record exactly, but the company's current live website lists a different office suite at 5625 Woodrow Bean Transmountain; the phone number matches exactly across every source, so identity is confirmed despite the address difference.

Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

Frequently asked

Does Texas require roofing contractors to hold a state license?
No. Texas has no statewide roofing license, so there is no license number to verify. Confirm insurance directly with the contractor and check BBB and Google review history instead.
Is AM.ON Roofing and Remodeling listed with the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT)?
A search of the RCAT member directory did not return a match for this company. Homeowners can check both RCAT Member status and the separate Licensed Roofing Contractor credential directly at web.rcat.net.
Why do impact-resistant Class 4 shingles matter in El Paso?
West Texas is in the state's hail-prone corridor, and Class 4 impact-rated shingles can hold up better to hailstones and may qualify a homeowner for an insurance discount; ask for a quote that includes this option.
Do I need a permit to replace my roof in El Paso?
Texas has no statewide building code, so permitting is decided city by city. Confirm with the City of El Paso permitting office and make sure the contractor pulls the permit.
What should I ask a roofing contractor before signing a contract?
Ask for proof of current insurance, a written scope of work, a firm price, a payment schedule, and manufacturer warranty terms for the materials used.
Is AM.ON Roofing and Remodeling insured?
This listing verifies insurance separately from directory research; ask to see a current certificate of insurance before signing a contract.
Does AM.ON Roofing and Remodeling use subcontractors?
The company's own site states it uses in-house crews rather than subcontractors for its roofing, remodeling and home building work.
Does AM.ON Roofing and Remodeling do more than roofing?
Yes, its own site lists kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living area remodeling, interior and exterior painting, custom home building, and pergola and gazebo additions alongside roofing.
What areas does AM.ON Roofing and Remodeling serve?
The company's own site states it serves El Paso, Texas and the Las Cruces, New Mexico region.
How can I verify a roofing company's reviews myself?
Check the company's Google Business Profile rating directly, review its BBB accreditation and complaint history, and search the RCAT directory for membership status.
