About
Remedy Roofing, Inc. is a Houston area residential and commercial roofing company that has been trading since 2005. Its headquarters and the address on this record is 1626 Avenue D in Katy, and the company describes itself as serving Texas and Louisiana. Its Better Business Bureau file lists nine locations under the same business, with the Katy office as the head office. The footprint is genuinely multi market rather than a single crew travelling. Beyond Katy and Houston, Remedy publishes or is listed at offices in Richardson for the Dallas market, Austin, New Braunfels for the San Antonio corridor, Beaumont, and Lake Charles in Louisiana. Services run from roof repair and inspection through full replacement and new construction, plus gutters, ventilation, siding, and commercial roofing. Remedy is a GAF Master Elite contractor, a tier GAF restricts to a small share of its contractor network and which unlocks GAF's stronger system warranties. It has been a BBB Accredited Business since March 2006 and holds an A+ rating, and it has picked up a GAF Training Excellence Award and a BBB Gold Star Award. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with an on call line outside those hours.

Insurance & credential verification
Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.
Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.
Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

Remedy did a great job on our roof replacement and gutter upgrades. They were extremely helpful providing guidance with the claim process when the insurance company denied our claim. They are a professional organization and I highly recommend them.
Blake at Remedy Roofing and his crew did an excellent job. He explained everything in detail about the work that was to be done. His foreman Will was here the whole time supervising and did a walk through with me after the job was done to make sure I was satisfied. This wasn't my first roof so when I say they were very professional, I have something to compare them too. You can't go wrong with Remedy !
Remedy Roofing just replaced my 15 year old roof. They did a quality job and I feel confident that it will last many years. I want to especially compliment the 7 person crew who did the work. They were friendly and respectful at all times. And they worked really hard. Also, the two superintendents, Lee and Will were really good to work with. Clear in all communications and on top of all work being done. My only area for improvement is in the estimate for amount of time to complete the work. The initial estimate was 1 1/2 days. It actually took 3 - 15 hour days to complete. There were no interruptions for weather or anything else that caused delays. When an estimate is provided, it should be more accurate. People develop expectations based on these estimates. Otherwise, I am completely satisfied with the job and would recommend Remedy Roofing to others.
I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with Blake Phillips from Remedy Roofing at the start of my roof‑replacement project. From our first contact through the final walkthrough, he was consistently professional, attentive, and well‑prepared. His proposal was by far the most thorough of all the ones I received, and his suggestions were genuinely helpful in guiding me toward the best choices for my home. Given the range of services Remedy Roofing offers, I fully expect to work with Blake again on future home projects.
My Insurance agent recommended calling Remedy Roofing; the repair experience was excellent. Jarred was very professional, on time, and clear about the process. They did high-quality work, cleaned up thoroughly, and made sure everything was done right. In the end, the roof looked great and gave real peace of mind.
