About

Radiant Roofing's New Braunfels office is the main base of Radiant Roofing and Restoration, the Boscamp family roofing and restoration company founded in 2009. It trades as Radiant Roofing San Antonio, LLC from 5130 IH 35 S in New Braunfels, Comal County, a 6,000 sq ft industrial building, and answers on (830) 620-ROOF, or (830) 620-7663, with a 24 hour line on (210) 990-9947. Shane and Austin Boscamp are named on the company website as the owners, with Austin serving as president of the New Braunfels and San Marcos branches. The company is a full service residential and commercial roofing contractor and restoration business. Published services include roof inspections, roof repair and emergency repair, roof replacement, new roof construction, insurance claim assistance, roof maintenance, gutter installation and storm damage restoration. It states that it is a certified CertainTeed Select Shingle Master contractor, a certified Versico installer and a certified DuraLast installer, and it lists Tile Roofing Institute standing. Manufacturers and suppliers named on its About page include CertainTeed, Boral, Berridge, DuraLast, Boss Metal, Pac-Clad, McElroy and Versico. Published coverage from this office runs across San Antonio, New Braunfels, Seguin, McQueeney, Boerne, San Marcos, Austin and the Hill Country. New Braunfels sits inland in the I-35 corridor, well outside the 14 first tier Gulf Coast counties, so hail and straight line wind rather than coastal windstorm certification drive the roofing work here. Texas issues no state roofing licence, so the checks that matter are insurance, the long standing physical address, the manufacturer certifications and RCAT membership.

Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

Rusty Tucker and his team from Radiant Roofing and Restoration exceeded our expectations on our new roof from the very beginning. Rusty made himself available whenever we had questions, especially while we were choosing the type and color of roof that best suited our home. We ultimately decided on a metal roof and Rusty went above and beyond to ensure the roof color, gutters and downspouts complimented our roof perfectly. He even assisted us with repainting our garage door so everything looks cohesive and finished. I cannot recommend Rusty in his team enough, the craftsmanship, attention to detail and genuine care they put into our home gave us a complete confidence-and results we truly love. Thank you Rusty

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. Shoddy work, zero accountability, and contract loopholes. If you need a roof that is actually going to last, DO NOT USE Radiant Roofing. My home was a brand-new M/I Homes build completed in December 2020. Shortly after moving in, I had a roof leak in my garage that caused water damage. Radiant Roofing came out and supposedly "fixed" it in 2023. Fast forward to May 2026: after recent heavy rains, the exact same leak is back in the exact same spot. It is leaking severely and has now caused fuzzy white mold to grow along the wall corner. I contacted them to fix their failed repair, and they completely refused to stand behind their workmanship. They hid behind a loophole, telling me that because their builder warranty is only 5 years, I am officially a few months out of coverage based on the 2020 build date. I would completely understand if this was a brand-new leak on a different part of the roof. But this is the EXACT same spot they supposedly repaired 3 years ago. If a mechanic fixes your brakes and the exact same part fails later, they don't get to blame the original purchase date of the car to get out of fixing their bad labor. They took zero accountability for their shoddy work. Because of them, I now have to pay out of pocket to fix the roof and cut out moldy garage drywall myself. "30-year roof" my ass. Avoid this company at all costs.

Radiant Roofing did an outstanding job from start to finish. The team was professional, on time, and super easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. They explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and left the job site clean when they were done. The quality of the workmanship really shows, and it’s obvious they take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest roofing company that delivers great results, I highly recommend Radiant Roofing.

Frequently asked

Is the separate Frisco listing for Radiant Roofing a real second office?
Yes. New Braunfels and Frisco are two genuine offices of one family company, not the same office registered twice. The Frisco office is a separate legal entity, Radiant Roofing, LLC, at 15222 King Rd Ste 502 in a Frisco office and warehouse park, with its own local number on (972) 712-7663, its own BBB file, its own Yelp listing and a different family member managing it. New Braunfels trades as Radiant Roofing San Antonio, LLC.
Which office is the head office?
New Braunfels. The company was founded in San Antonio in 2009 and the radroofsa.com domain reflects that San Antonio identity, but no separate San Antonio street office was found and the San Antonio operation is run from 5130 IH 35 S in New Braunfels. Frisco is the smaller North Texas branch.
Is this the same Radiant Roofing based in Austin?
No. Radiant Roofing is a common trading name in Texas, and there is a separate, better known Radiant Roofing headquartered in Austin as well as an unrelated Radiant Roofing and Renovations. This listing is the Boscamp family's Radiant Roofing and Restoration, identified by its radroofsa.com and radroof.com domains and by its New Braunfels phone number.
Does Radiant Roofing hold a Texas state roofing licence?
There is no state roofing licence in Texas, so no roofer holds one. The checks available to a homeowner are current general liability and workers compensation insurance, a verifiable physical address, manufacturer certifications and voluntary industry membership. Radiant is recorded as an RCAT member and states CertainTeed, Versico and DuraLast installer certifications.
What does RCAT Member mean, and is it a licence?
No, it is not a licence. RCAT membership means the company pays Roofing Contractors Association of Texas dues and signs its code of ethics. The RCAT Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (RRL, CRRL or CRL) is earned separately through documented experience and examination. This record is a Member record.
What does the restoration side of the business cover?
Radiant describes itself as a full service restoration company as well as a roofing contractor, listing restoration and remediation alongside storm damage assessment and emergency roof repair. In practice that means the same firm can tarp and dry in a storm damaged roof and then carry the repair work through, which reduces the number of separate contractors involved in a claim.
Is hail a real risk this far south?
Yes. The I-35 corridor between San Antonio and Austin takes regular severe thunderstorms with damaging hail in spring. Hail bruises asphalt shingles and strips the granules that protect the asphalt from ultraviolet light, so a hit roof can look intact and still fail years early. A post storm inspection is worth booking before any claim deadline.
Are Class 4 impact resistant shingles worth specifying?
Often, yes. Class 4 is the top UL 2218 impact rating and many Texas insurers offer a premium credit for a documented Class 4 roof. Check what evidence your own carrier wants and have the exact product name and impact rating written into the contract before the tear off begins.
Who issues the permit for a reroof in New Braunfels?
The City of New Braunfels or the relevant county office, because Texas has no statewide building code administration and permitting is handled locally. Ask in writing who pulls the permit, who books the inspection, and whether the fee is included in the quoted price.
What should I ask before signing a roofing contract in Texas?
Ask for a certificate of insurance sent to you directly by the agent, a written scope naming the exact shingle, tile or metal panel and the underlayment, both the manufacturer warranty and the separate workmanship warranty in writing, confirmation of who pulls the permit, and a milestone based payment schedule. A large cash deposit before materials are delivered is a warning sign, and a Texas contractor must not offer to waive or absorb your insurance deductible.
