Insurance & credential verification
Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

City/county registration
Not checked for FriendswoodTexas has no state roofing licence, and city rules differ: some require contractor registration, some run a voluntary registry, some neither. Ask this company and your local permit office.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

Frequently asked
Is Dynasty Roofing and Construction licensed by the State of Texas?
Texas has no statewide roofing license, so there is no state license to check. Instead verify general liability insurance and Better Business Bureau standing. Dynasty Roofing and Construction has been a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating since December 2023.
Is Dynasty Roofing and Construction listed with the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT)?
A search of the RCAT directory returned no results for Dynasty Roofing and Construction. RCAT membership is voluntary, so this does not by itself indicate anything about the company's insurance or workmanship.
Is Dynasty Roofing and Construction manufacturer certified?
Yes. Manufacturer directories show it as a GAF Certified Contractor and a CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster, a certification level CertainTeed limits to top-performing contractors, held since 2024. It is also listed as TAMKO Pro.
What roofing material does Dynasty Roofing and Construction install?
Its manufacturer certifications (GAF, CertainTeed, TAMKO) point to asphalt shingle roofing as its primary material.
Where is Dynasty Roofing and Construction located?
Manufacturer certification profiles list an address on Bentwood in Friendswood, Texas, Galveston County. The company's Better Business Bureau registration lists a separate Houston, Texas office address, and its own marketing describes serving Houston and Webster; treat this as a company with more than one point of presence rather than a single storefront.
Is Galveston County part of the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) coastal zone?
Yes. Galveston County, where Friendswood sits, is one of the 14 first-tier Gulf Coast counties covered under TWIA/WPI-8 windstorm insurance rules.
Does Friendswood require roofing permits?
Texas has no statewide building code, so permitting is set locally. Confirm permit requirements with the City of Friendswood building department before roofing work begins.
What should I ask before hiring Dynasty Roofing and Construction or any Texas roofer?
Ask for proof of current general liability insurance, a written scope of work with named materials and manufacturer certification level, and who is responsible for pulling any required permit.
How long has Dynasty Roofing and Construction been in business?
Its BBB profile shows the business started on October 30, 2023, and it has held BBB accreditation since December 2023, making it a relatively young company.
Does Dynasty Roofing and Construction do more than roofing?
Yes, alongside roofing it offers gutter installation, exterior restoration, and fence installation and repair.
