Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Insurance Required by RCAT Licensed credential (liability and workers’ comp cover are conditions of this credential; ask for the current certificate)

This company appears on the city's own list of registered contractors. The city publishes no certificate number or expiry date for this programme, so ask to see the registration itself before work starts.

Confirm this licence yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search — search #03-0592 or the company name.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

The owner of Americana Roofing, Kerry White, went out of his way to help me navigate the complex world of insurance lingo .He fought for getting me what was rightfully owed me to complete the work needed. All this was above and beyond what i have ever seen from most contractors. Even his employees were wonderful..They were so polite ,punctual and did an amazing job.It was fast ,beautiful and professional from start to finish. The price of the work was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this company for any contract work you may ever need.

Exceptional work on light repairs -- soffits, facia, other trim work. Kerry's the best -- he knows construction, not just roofing!

Americana Roofing installed our new roof after weather related damage. Kerry White was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the process, beginning with an initial assessment, continuing with the completion of a new roof and gutter replacements. He directed us and directly communicated with our insurance company. Kerry was always accessible and helpful from beginning to end. He insured that a quality installation was done. We would highly recommend Americans Roofing for repairs and replacement.

These guys killed it! Super professional from start to finish. Eli helped take care of everything and couldn't be happier with the quality of work. You're doing yourself a disservice if you use anyone but Americana Roofing!

Frequently asked

Is Americana Roofing licensed by the State of Texas?
Texas has no statewide roofing license. What Americana Roofing holds is RCAT's separately earned Licensed Roofing Contractor (CRRL) credential under owner Kerry White, which is a step beyond paid RCAT membership.
What does it mean that Americana Roofing is RCAT Licensed rather than just an RCAT Member?
RCAT Membership only requires paying dues. The Licensed Roofing Contractor (CRRL/RRL/CRL) credential has to be earned separately. RCAT's directory lists Kerry White of Americana Roofing with the CRRL designation, confirming the Licensed status given for this company.
How long has Americana Roofing been in business?
Both the company's website and Better Business Bureau records show Americana Roofing was founded on September 19, 2005 by Kerry White, giving it roughly two decades of experience in the Aledo and Weatherford area.
Does Americana Roofing install impact-resistant Class 4 shingles for hail country?
Aledo and the surrounding Parker and Tarrant County area sit within North Texas' Hail Alley. Americana Roofing installs asphalt shingles from multiple manufacturers, so ask specifically whether Class 4 impact-resistant shingles are available and whether they might qualify for an insurance discount.
Does Americana Roofing help with storm damage insurance claims?
Yes. The company lists storm damage restoration with emergency response among its services, which typically includes hail and wind damage common to North Texas.
What roofing materials does Americana Roofing work with?
The company installs asphalt shingles (3-tab and architectural), metal roofing, flat systems including TPO, EPDM, and PVC, modified bitumen, tile, and cedar shake.
Is Americana Roofing BBB accredited?
Yes. Americana Roofing has been a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating since June 2010.
Does Americana Roofing pull permits for roofing jobs?
Texas has no statewide building code, so permit rules are set city by city. Homeowners should confirm directly with Americana Roofing and their local city whether a permit applies to their project.
What should I verify before hiring Americana Roofing?
Ask for proof of current liability insurance, confirmation of Kerry White's CRRL license status, a written scope of work, and the terms of the company's stated $25,000 guarantee before signing.
What areas does Americana Roofing serve?
The company serves Aledo, Weatherford, Fort Worth, Arlington, Granbury, Springtown, Mineral Wells, Hudson Oaks, Willow Park, Benbrook, White Settlement, and other Parker and Tarrant County communities.
