Arrowhead is a plain RCAT Member (joined 2017) and holds BBB A+ accreditation dating to 1999. The company installs metal roofs, composition and impact-resistant shingles, designer shingles, TPO, and modified bitumen, and it holds CertainTeed Shingle Quality Specialist and Master Shingle Applicator certifications. Beyond roofing, Arrowhead also installs siding, windows, and gutters, and offers financing with approved credit. It has been voted Texoma's Best siding contractor multiple years running and has received a BBB Torch Award for ethics.

Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

We had our windows replaced by Arrowhead Roofing Company and we absolutely love them! The team was professional, courteous, and very understanding of all my questions and concerns. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

TOP NOTCH! A few years ago, I had Arrowhead do my roof and replace a few of our windows. Then I had a patio cover installed and added gutters. So when it was time to replace more windows....I knew exactly who to call. I am so glad I did. I love my new windows! The old windows were hauled away and there was no debris around my property. I highly recommend Arrowhead and all of their crews. They have all been knowledgeable and professional.

Took 2 1/2 months but excellent sales rep, professional installation, quality check by other staff member and very good pricing. Will deal with Arrowhead again. We did both grade 3 roof and gutters.

We had major hail damage and hired Arrowhead Roofing and Siding to replace our roof, siding, and gutters. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. The office staff was friendly, helpful, and always quick to answer our questions. Every crew member who worked on our home was respectful, on time, and clearly knew what they were doing. We also took the opportunity to add fresh exterior paint and a new back patio porch and the results look fantastic! Our home looks even better than before the storm. We’re very pleased with the quality of work and communication throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend Arrowhead Roofing and Siding to anyone needing reliable storm restoration or exterior home improvements.

We had some bad weather here recently, and the siding on the back of the house got a bit mangled, so I called a number of companies and individuals to see if they could repair the damage. ONLY ONE CAME THROUGH FOR ME, and that ONE is Arrowhead roofing and siding. The price was reasonable, and it got done in about an hour, see the pictures I append to this missive, and you will see Quality Work!

Frequently asked

Is Arrowhead Roofing licensed by the State of Texas?
Texas does not issue a statewide roofing license. Arrowhead Roofing is a plain Member of the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT), which reflects paid association membership rather than a separately earned RCAT Licensed Roofing Contractor credential.
What does RCAT Member status mean for Arrowhead Roofing?
It means the company pays dues and participates in the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas. This is different from RCAT's separately earned Licensed Roofing Contractor designation (CRRL/RRL/CRL), which Arrowhead's RCAT profile does not show.
Is Arrowhead Roofing insured?
Homeowners should ask Arrowhead Roofing for a current certificate of general liability insurance before any work begins, since this was not independently published on the company's site.
Does Arrowhead Roofing install impact-resistant shingles?
Yes, the company's roofing lineup includes impact-resistant (Class 4) shingles, which matter in the Wichita Falls area given North Texas's exposure to hail.
Is Arrowhead Roofing BBB accredited?
Yes, the company has held BBB A+ accreditation since 1999 and has received a BBB Torch Award for Ethics.
Does Wichita Falls require a roofing permit?
Texas has no statewide building code, so permit rules are set locally. Homeowners in Wichita Falls and Wichita County should confirm current permit requirements with the city before a reroof begins.
What manufacturer certifications does Arrowhead Roofing hold?
The company holds CertainTeed Shingle Quality Specialist and CertainTeed Master Shingle Applicator certifications and installs CertainTeed and Atlas shingle products.
Does Arrowhead Roofing do more than roofing?
Yes, in addition to roof repair and replacement, Arrowhead also installs siding, windows, and gutters, and has been recognized locally as a top siding contractor.
How long has Arrowhead Roofing been in business?
Rance and Susanne Hogue founded Arrowhead Roofing in Wichita Falls in 1999, and the company has operated continuously in the area since.
What should I ask Arrowhead Roofing before signing a contract?
Ask for a current certificate of insurance, confirmation of RCAT membership, the manufacturer certifications tied to your specific job, a written scope of work, and references from recent Wichita Falls area customers.
