Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

We had a great experience with Perennial Roofing LLC from start to finish. The quality of work and attention to detail were excellent, and the final result looks amazing. Communication was smooth and consistent throughout the entire process. Jay was very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. He also went above and beyond to help us through the insurance approval process, making sure everything was handled thoroughly and correctly. Perennial Roofing truly exceeded my expectations! From the initial assessment, they were incredibly thorough and took the time to clearly explain the damage to my roof and the necessary replacement. I felt completely informed and confident with the team and Shawn's expertise. The installation itself was remarkably efficient and professional. They completed the entire job in just one day, and the quality of the materials used was class 3 which is top-notch. What's more, the price was incredibly reasonable for the high standard of work and materials provided. I highly recommend Shawn, Jake, Logan and team at Perennial Roofing to anyone needing reliable, professional, and fairly priced roofing services. Five stars all the way!

After a frustrating experience with two other roofing companies—one who ghosted us after our initial claim was denied and another who clearly had no interest in helping—we were so thankful to find Perennial Roofing LTD! From the very start, Shawn was thorough, professional, and incredibly helpful. He explained their process in detail, advised us to hire a public claims adjuster after assessing the hail damage, and stood by us every step of the way. After 9 long months, we finally won our claim and got a brand-new roof! 🎉 Shawn not only helped us pick out shingles that perfectly complement our home’s brick, but he also connected us with other contractors for necessary repairs. His communication was excellent, and his team was prompt, hardworking, and meticulous—starting work at daybreak and delivering results beyond our expectations. In addition, the roofing team is one of the few left out there that still hand nails shingles for extra durability and security. The biggest WOW factor?!? Our home looks brand new and stands out from other homes in our neighborhood due to the extra detail work done, and we couldn't be more grateful for the A+++ customer service and craftsmanship. If you're looking for a roofing company that actually cares and delivers top-quality work, Perennial Roofing LTD is the one! Highly recommend them!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We can easily recommend Perennial Roofing to others. Freddie was the contact person for us. We needed a roof inspection after a hail storm. Freddie explained the process to us, and arrived at the house with the insurance adjustor. After we decided Perennial would be our choice, Freddie wasted no time in arranging the delivery of materials and the schedule for the work crews. Everything went smoothly, and Freddie even came after the installation of the roof to help us with a dryer vent problem. Besides walking around the house to inspect the work, Freddie also had taken photographs of the roof, giving us a full perspective of what had been done. The roofers cleaned up the work site beautifully. With Freddie’s experience and friendliness, the task was completed in the least disruptive way we could imagine.

Frequently asked

Is Perennial Roofing licensed by the State of Texas?
Texas does not issue a state roofing licence, so no roofer in Liberty Hill or anywhere else in the state can hold one. What you can check instead is insurance, trade association standing and any city or county registration. Perennial Roofing is a member of the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas and is BBB accredited with an A+ rating.
What does RCAT membership actually mean?
The Roofing Contractors Association of Texas has two separate things. Plain membership means the company joins and pays dues and agrees to the association's code of conduct. The Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned separately through testing and experience requirements. Perennial Roofing is listed as a Member, which is not the same as holding the Licensed Roofing Contractor credential.
Which areas does Perennial Roofing cover?
The company is based in Liberty Hill and works across Central Texas including Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Austin, Lakeway, Lampasas and College Station. It also publishes regional pages for Dallas Fort Worth, Houston and the Coastal Bend, so ask whether your address is covered by the local crew or a regional team.
Does the company handle hail and storm insurance claims?
Yes. Storm damage restoration and insurance restoration are listed services, and the site describes an inspection and assessment process for documenting storm damage before a claim. Perennial can document damage and meet an adjuster, but the insurer decides the claim, not the roofer.
Are impact resistant shingles worth it around Liberty Hill and Georgetown?
Williamson County sits in the part of Texas that takes repeated hail, so Class 4 impact resistant shingles are a common upgrade. They resist bruising and cracking better than standard laminates, and most Texas carriers offer a premium discount for them. Perennial advertises a no cost upgrade to impact resistant shingles on qualifying jobs, so ask in writing which rating is being installed and what your insurer will credit.
What roofing products does Perennial install?
Its services and project pages name IKO Dynasty AR and Cambridge asphalt shingles, IKO Stormshield ice and water barrier, IKO Stormtite synthetic underlayment, galvanised drip edge, GAF Cobra rigid vent and Lomanco ridge vents, plus metal roofing panels for metal jobs.
Does Perennial hold a manufacturer certification such as GAF Master Elite or Owens Corning Platinum?
No manufacturer certification level was verified on any manufacturer's own contractor directory. The company appears in IKO's contractor finder, but that listing does not show a ROOFPRO tier. If a manufacturer warranty tier matters to you, ask the company to show its current standing directly on the manufacturer's site.
How do I check a roofer's insurance before signing?
Ask for a certificate of insurance sent directly from the agent, not a copy handed to you by the salesperson. You want general liability cover and, if the company has employees, workers compensation. Texas does not require most private employers to carry workers compensation, so confirm what applies to the crew that will actually be on your roof.
Does Liberty Hill require a permit for a roof replacement?
Texas has no statewide building code enforcement, so permitting and inspection rules are set city by city and county by county. Check with the City of Liberty Hill or Williamson County for your address, and confirm in writing who is pulling the permit, the contractor or you.
What should I ask before I sign a roofing contract in Texas?
Get the full scope in writing including decking replacement rates, underlayment, flashing and ventilation, and get the shingle line and impact rating named. Ask who does the work and whether any of it is subcontracted. Ask for the workmanship warranty term separately from the manufacturer warranty. And note that under Texas law a contractor cannot pay, waive, rebate or absorb your insurance deductible, so treat any offer to do so as a warning sign.
