Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this listing yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

Anthony and his team at Olympic Exteriors are exceptional! We were doing repairs that combined an insurance claim and some cosmetic updates to our home. At the start of the process, Anthony took my wife and I around a neighborhood to view various material and color combinations. This really helped us decide on finishes and colors for our home. The staff was extremely prompt and professional, and clearly very skilled at their craft. They communicated well and ensured everything was completed to our satisfaction, and within budget! Our home now looks updated, modern, and brand new! I highly rate Olympic Exteriors for any work you need done!

Olympic Exteriors has been absolutely amazing from start to finish! Working with Anthony, and his team was a breeze. They worked alongside our insurance company step by step to insure everything was done the correct way. Our home looks amazing. Not only does Olympic provide the latest and greatest quality products on the market, but they also have amazing attention to detail. The crews he has are very professional, and respectful. They were in and out in a couple of days and left ZERO mess. I can't recommend this company enough. I know several people in our neighborhood who has used them, and they all say the same thing. Great work!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Olympic Exteriors for a roofing project at my home. Anthony and his team went above and beyond throughout the entire project. Initially, I contacted the company for an inspection; Brittany scheduled an appointment the very next day. Anthony performed a detailed inspection of my roof, providing over 40 pictures and a summary of his findings. Upon discovering hail damage from the last storm, I decided to file a claim with my insurance. Anthony assisted me throughout the entire claim process which was completed quickly. The project was completed two weeks later. Communication throughout the project was consistent and clear, ensuring I was always informed about progress. The project lead (Jeff) was on site to oversee the work and ensure that every detail was meticulously executed! Overall, I highly recommend Olympic Exteriors for any roofing needs due to their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction. I will certainly be reaching out to them for any future projects. Thank you, Anthony and team! Jeremie

A friend recommended Olympic Roofing, so I decided to give them a try. I had already seen their professional work, and I was impressed. They did an amazing job on my mom’s new roof. They also put on new gutters, fixed the interior ceiling water damage, and removed the old popcorn ceiling to give the house a fresh new look. I was so pleased with the professionalism throughout the process and how they worked with the insurance company to make it as seamless as possible. I would definitely recommend and use them again and again. Dean

Great experience with my new roof put in a few years ago, and pricing was fair and reasonable. I have had no issues and it looks great, and I wanted to share my thanks! I had my 10 year old roof replaced after a bad hail storm and Anthony was a pleasure to work with. They put in a new roof and gutters (upgraded my turret, gutters, etc.) installed in 3 days, and I have a large 4500 sq ft home! When I asked for a second pass with the nail pickup drum roller thingy on my lawn, they came right over and did it a few time more, and I felt my family safety was their priority too so we could walk on the grass with no issues. Also, they handled the insurance claim too, so I did not have to worry about spending time with the insurance agent. Would definitely work with them again and have recommended him to my neighbor, and he had his new roof put on last year.

Frequently asked

Where is Olympic Exteriors based, and which county is that?
The office is at 4645 Avon Lane, Suite 265 in Frisco, TX 75033. Frisco straddles two counties, and property records for that address place it in Denton County rather than Collin County.
Is Olympic Exteriors licensed by the State of Texas?
No. Texas does not issue a state roofing licence, so no roofer in Texas can hold one. What you can check instead is insurance, RCAT standing, BBB record, manufacturer credentials and whatever registration the city where you live requires.
What is the company's RCAT standing?
Olympic Exteriors LLC appears in the RCAT directory as a Member. RCAT membership means the company pays dues and belongs to the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas. It is not the same thing as RCAT's separately earned Licensed Roofing Contractor credential, and the two should not be treated as equivalent.
What manufacturer credentials can actually be verified?
Owens Corning lists Olympic Exteriors LLC in its own contractor directory as a Preferred Contractor. The company also describes itself as a CertainTeed certified installer, but that one is stated by the company and was not confirmed on CertainTeed's own directory during this check.
Does Olympic Exteriors work with insurance claims after a hail storm?
The company markets roof inspections and storm related repair and replacement work across DFW. Ask directly how they handle the claim itself, because in Texas a roofer may not act as your public insurance adjuster on the same job they are contracted to perform.
Are impact resistant Class 4 shingles worth it in Frisco?
Frisco sits in North Texas hail country, so Class 4 impact rated shingles are a common upgrade. Many Texas carriers offer a premium discount for a UL 2218 Class 4 roof. Confirm the discount with your own insurer before paying the upgrade, since the amount varies by carrier.
What are the office hours?
The contact page lists Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Do I need a permit to replace a roof in Frisco?
Texas has no statewide building code enforcement, so permitting and inspection rules are set city by city. Frisco does require permits for roof work. Ask your contractor to confirm in writing that they will pull the permit and schedule the inspection.
Does the company do anything other than roofing?
Yes. Alongside roofing it advertises gutter installation, exterior painting and window replacement, and its BBB file also lists siding.
What should I ask before signing a roofing contract in Texas?
Ask for a current certificate of general liability and workers compensation insurance sent directly by the insurer, a written scope naming the exact shingle line and underlayment, the manufacturer and workmanship warranty terms in writing, who pulls the permit, and confirmation that no money changes hands before the contract and any insurance approval are settled.
