About

Verified Roofing, LLC is a residential and commercial roofing contractor at 2046 Bedford Road in Bedford, in Tarrant County, working the greater Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex. Its BBB profile shows the business started on 29 September 2018, accredited since July 2022 with an A+ rating, and names Sidney W Curtis as a member of the company. BBB records its service area as Collin, Dallas, Johnson, Parker and Tarrant counties, and the company's own site describes the same DFW footprint. GAF's own contractor directory lists Verified Roofing LLC at the Bedford Road address and the 817-715-6750 number with Master Elite status on the residential side, GAF Certified status on the commercial side, and a GAF CoatingsPro liquid applied roofing certification. Those three were read from GAF's directory rather than from the company's marketing. The company additionally states NTRCA membership, GAF Energy solar certification, National Women in Roofing membership and an FC Dallas Soccer Club affiliation; those are stated by the company and were not confirmed against an independent source. The work covers roof inspection, repair, maintenance, replacement and new installation across residential, commercial and multi-family or HOA properties, with siding, gutter installation and attic ventilation alongside. Shingle brands named on the site include GAF, Owens Corning and DaVinci. Bedford sits in the middle of the North Texas hail corridor, where hail and wind driven storm damage generate the bulk of roof replacement work, so impact resistant shingle options and insurance claim handling are the practical questions for most homeowners here. The trade name Verified Roofing is the company's own brand and is not a statement of verification by this directory.

Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this licence yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search — search #03-0222 or the company name.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

My recent experience with Verified Roofing was excellent as it has always been in the past. Sidney Curtis is the ultimate professional with integrity and care for the project and for customers. The roofing crew was outstanding in their consistent cleanup all during the job and meticulous cleanup at the job's finish. The crew chief, Gasper, was pleasant, communicative and professional. They all deserve an A+ rating!

If u are looking for a company that does great quality work and cares about their customers Verified Roofing is the one to call. Everyone in the office is very knowledgeable and pleasant; especially Paula who assisted me numerous times and answered all my concerns. Special thanks to the owner Sidney who also came out and found a plumbing leak in my home that I didn’t even know I had. The expertise and skill set is top notch throughout and was overall a wonderful experience to work with. Give them a call and you won’t be disappointed.

All of the folks at Verified Roofing were outstanding! The professionalism and going above and beyond dealing with our insurance company, scheduling and timely completion was truly helpful in keeping our stress level low. Each sub-contractor they brought in were very professional and answered all questions as they performed their part of the overall project. I can't go without saying the roofing crew were courteous, professional, kept the sight picked up and cleaned each day.

Sydney was very thorough and professional while explaining the cost and procedures of my roof repairs. He coordinated with the gutter repairman that I had previously retained In addition to the window people and leaf guard people. He handled all insurance needs appropriately. His crew was respectful and worked diligently to put my new roof on in two days. His foreman was excellent at communication. Ive had 2 roofs put on prior to this one. We built the house 30 + years and this was the first time I have had the choice of color for the shingles. It really changed the exterior of my home and I love it. I would highly recommend hiring Verified Roofing.

I was in need of a new roof, Sydney was excellent and very knowledgeable, he spent hours on the roof documenting everything for the insurance company prior to him having a contract. They stripped it to wood, replaced and painted the many rotten facia boards and a couple deck boards, all the drip edges, flashings around the fireplace, skylights and anywhere else brick met wood. Moved a couple incorrectly installed vents, added bathroom vents, and removed the turbine vents and installed ridge vents. Despite some challenges they were in and out in 2 days and the yard was nearly spotless when they left, Michaele was wonderful and we are more than happy with the results. Also had the house wrapped in black gutters, those were installed a couple days later, I think they look great against the black farmed tinted windows. Very interested to see how the new Hail resistant shingles hold up here in Texas :)

Frequently asked

Does the name Verified Roofing mean this company has been verified?
No. Verified Roofing is simply the company's trade name, chosen by the business itself, and it carries no independent meaning. What this listing has actually checked is narrower and named specifically: GAF Master Elite, GAF Certified commercial and GAF CoatingsPro status read from GAF's own contractor directory, and BBB accreditation with an A+ rating read from BBB. Other claims the company makes about itself are recorded as its own statements.
Is Verified Roofing licensed by the State of Texas?
Texas does not issue a state roofing licence, so no Texas roofer holds one. The real checks are private or local: RCAT status, general liability and workers compensation insurance, BBB accreditation, manufacturer certification, and city registration where a jurisdiction requires it. This company is a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating and is carried in this directory as an RCAT Member.
What does RCAT Member mean?
RCAT, the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas, has ordinary members who pay dues and agree to the association's code of ethics. Separately, RCAT awards a Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) earned through testing and documented experience. The two are not the same and neither is a government licence. This listing records Verified Roofing as an RCAT Member.
What does GAF Master Elite actually mean?
Master Elite is the top tier of GAF's contractor program, above GAF Certified. GAF says Master Elite contractors can offer its strongest warranty options, including the Golden Pledge limited warranty on qualifying roof systems. It is a manufacturer program, not a government credential, and it applies to GAF products specifically. This listing confirmed the status on GAF's own directory page for the Bedford, TX location.
Which areas does the company serve?
It works from Bedford in Tarrant County across the greater Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex. BBB records its service area as Collin, Dallas, Johnson, Parker and Tarrant counties. If your address sits outside those five counties, confirm coverage before scheduling an inspection.
How bad is hail in the Bedford and mid-cities area?
Bedford sits in the North Texas hail corridor, one of the most hail affected stretches of the country. Damaging hail and wind driven storms are a normal part of spring and early summer, and hail claims drive most residential roof replacement in the area. A post storm inspection is routine here rather than paranoid.
Should I choose impact resistant (Class 4) shingles?
Class 4 is the highest rating in the UL 2218 steel ball impact test, and it is the class most worth discussing in the DFW hail belt. Many Texas insurers offer a premium credit for a Class 4 roof, though the discount varies by carrier and is never automatic. Confirm the specific product and the discount with your own insurer, and get the product name and rating written into the contract.
Do I need a permit to replace a roof in Bedford?
Texas has no statewide building code enforcement, so permitting is set city by city. A reroof in Bedford goes through the City of Bedford, and neighbouring mid-cities such as Hurst, Euless, Colleyville and North Richland Hills each run their own process with their own fees and inspection rules. Ask in writing who pulls the permit and who schedules the inspection.
Does the company handle commercial and multi-family roofs?
Yes. Its own site splits work into residential, commercial and multi-family or HOA categories, and GAF lists it as a Certified commercial contractor and a CoatingsPro liquid applied roofing contractor, which covers coatings and liquid membrane systems used on low slope commercial roofs. For an apartment or HOA project, ask specifically about the low slope systems it installs and the warranty terms attached.
What should I check before signing?
Ask for a certificate of insurance sent directly by the insurance agent, covering general liability and workers compensation. Get a written scope that separates tear off, decking replacement pricing, underlayment, flashing and ventilation. Keep the manufacturer material warranty and the workmanship warranty distinct in writing, confirm who pulls the permit, and read any document that would assign your insurance claim benefits to the contractor before signing it.
