About

This Richardson entry belongs to Pro Builders Roofing LLC, the Kaufman County roofing, siding and gutter contractor that also markets itself as PC Pro Builders. Its Richardson address is Suite 1200 at 2435 N Central Expressway, a serviced office suite inside the Regus centre at Palisades Central II, while the company's working base and map listing sit at 201 Elm Street in Forney. The company handles residential and commercial roof installation, repair and maintenance and installs EPDM, flat, modified bitumen, asphalt shingle, tile, white membrane and metal systems. It also does siding, gutters, residential and commercial remodeling, and insurance claim work, and it publishes 24/7 emergency availability alongside weekday office hours. Named coverage includes Richardson and the wider Dallas Fort Worth area, with McKinney, Frisco and Allen called out on the site. BBB records put the start of the business at February 2012 with LLC incorporation in December 2015, and show accreditation with an A+ rating since July 2012 under a single business file covering both the Forney and Richardson addresses. Texas has no state roofing licence, so the verifiable signals are insurance, RCAT standing and the company's listing in the GAF contractor directory.

Insurance & credential verification

Texas does not issue a state roofing license, so we verify companies the way homeowners actually can: confirming insurance coverage, checking RCAT (Roofing Contractors Association of Texas) status, and checking city or county registration where the local jurisdiction requires one. Every credential below links to the actual issuing organization's own public lookup — don't just take our checkmark for it. Always ask for a current certificate of insurance before signing any contract.

Confirm this licence yourself at web.rcat.net/rcat/search — search #03-0554 or the company name.

Confirm this yourself: ask the company for their certificate of insurance (COI). Note that RCAT's Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned and held by a named individual at a company, not by the business itself, which is why we name that person above where we know it; Texas issues no company roofing license at all. RCAT and NTRCA status can be checked in their own public directories (RCAT, NTRCA) — use the "Licensed"/"Accredited" filter to see more than plain membership. GAF's contractor verification tool and Owens Corning's Texas locator confirm those tiers directly; CertainTeed doesn't offer a comparable self-serve lookup, so ask to see that certificate in person. BBB accreditation and rating are on bbb.org. Houston's own published registered-roofer list is years out of date, so it isn't cited here at all — confirm registration by contacting the city directly. Corpus Christi's STAR program has its own online contractor registry — for any other city or county registration claim, confirm directly with that jurisdiction's permit office.

I had an amazing experience with Pro Builders roofing from start to finish. They repaired my roof, gutters, & garage after a storm. Daniel & the team went above and beyond. He explained the problem clearly, and gave a fair, detailed estimate. They completed repairs quickly and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. We’ve had heavy rain since the repair, and there have been no issues at all. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing roof repairs.

Joe was extremely helpful. I’m glad a neighbor who had great feedback of Pro Builders referred them to me. I had 3 other roofers before this who tried to deal with insurance without success but Joe didn’t give up until my claim got reasoned. Very professional, transparent and practical. They finished my roof fast and well done.

Everything from start to finish was great with Pro Builders Roofing. Daxx Hill was great to work with and he explained everything about the whole process of filing a claim, and the inspection. He was even able to come out the day the adjuster came to inspect. Highly recommend this company and Daxx for your roofing needs. He is honest and trustworthy and looks out for what’s best for the homeowner.

Start to finish great experience! A friend from work recommended me. I waited to see how his house went, and they did a great job! They were able to navigate me and my wife through the whole process. Helped us consider things we never thought about. Daniel was very thorough and thoughtful throughout the whole thing. He pushed things along without being pushy. In fact he even dealt with the adjuster while we were out of town. He showed up for every appointment. Did what he said he would do, the roof looks great. No debris or mess left behind. I had no idea my insurance would pay for so much of the cost of replacement, so if you are sitting there wondering, give pro builders roofing a call. My roof was 3 tab shingle 17 years old.. so having this great New architectural 5 tab shingle is one less thing I have to worry about. Thank you!

Joe was great. Very thorough communication. Cane the same day of the storm and patched our leak for a very reasonable price. Even came back and refunded us when we accidentally overpaid him. I don’t leave reviews often, but this service was one of a kind and very well deserving of the five stars.

Frequently asked

Is the Richardson address a separate branch office?
No. Suite 1200 at 2435 N Central Expressway is inside the Regus serviced office centre at Palisades Central II, a building that also sells virtual business addresses. The company's Google and Yelp listings, and the operating address on its own contact page, point to 201 Elm Street in Forney. Treat Richardson as a business address rather than a second roofing operation.
Does Texas issue a state roofing licence?
No. There is no state roofing licence in Texas and no state board that regulates roofers. What you can verify is general liability and workers compensation insurance, RCAT standing, manufacturer certification, and any local contractor registration your city requires.
What does this company's RCAT status mean?
RCAT, the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas, runs two separate things. Plain membership means the company pays dues. The Licensed Roofing Contractor credential (CRRL, RRL or CRL) is earned separately through experience and testing. This listing records the company as holding RCAT Licensed status.
How long has the company been operating?
BBB records show the business started on 17 February 2012 and was incorporated as an LLC on 8 December 2015. It has been BBB accredited since 10 July 2012 and currently carries an A+ rating.
Does it handle hail damage insurance claims?
Yes, it lists insurance claims assistance and says it has licensed staff adjusters. Dallas County sits in the North Texas hail belt, so most roof replacements here run through an insurance claim rather than a straight cash job.
Are Class 4 impact resistant shingles worth the extra cost?
Class 4 shingles pass the UL 2218 steel ball impact test and survive hail better than standard products. Many Texas insurers give a premium discount for them. The size of the discount varies by carrier, so check with yours before you commit to the upgrade.
Do I need a permit to reroof in Richardson?
Texas has no statewide building code administration for reroofs, so permitting is city by city. Richardson runs its own building inspection department with its own permit and inspection requirements. Agree in writing who pulls the permit and who books the final inspection.
How do I check a roofer's insurance is real?
Ask the contractor's insurance agent to send you the certificate of insurance directly. Confirm it covers general liability and workers compensation, that the dates span your project, and that the named insured matches the company on your contract.
What should I ask before signing?
Ask for an itemised scope, the total price, a start and finish window, and separate warranty terms for workmanship and for materials. Texas law prohibits a contractor from paying, rebating or waiving your insurance deductible, so refuse any offer to do so. Request lien waivers as you pay.
Does the company do commercial roofs?
Yes. It advertises commercial roofing, commercial roof maintenance and commercial remodeling, and installs low slope systems including EPDM, modified bitumen and white membrane.
